Why become a sponsor ?
Corporate and institutional members (as sponsors) will represent the financial backbone of the Association and are therefore crucial to its economic viability. Space industry and agencies are more and more concerned with creating and maintaining a "safety culture" in their organisations. For this purpose four elements are essential:
a) an overall set up which allows an adequate system of checks-and-balances;
b) a core of highly competent professionals in safety and related disciplines;
c) a diffuse knowledge of key safety principles and practices throughout the ranks of the organisation, and
d) a general safety-minded attitude.
The Association research activities, studies, conferences, seminars, and training programs will help the sponsors in their effort to develop, expand and maintain a robust "safety culture" in their organisations. Furthermore, the Association will provide valuable opportunities for contacts and building of personal ties that would be of great benefit in view of future business co-operations, and for the coordination of safety policies of common interest (i.e. development of voluntary international standards).
